ABOUT ME

I am a kind guy always nice for a good laugh and meanwhile caring about others. I drink often, but never aggressive, abusive or whatever kind. Just because I am a good person and my whole life I try to advance to a better and better kind.

PHILOSOPHY

Buddhism is the closest description of my philosophy. I believe that inside every person there is a pure and loving all being. But we all have layers of experience and personality changes that the caring and honest part of us is covered by all these layers so we can hardly feel who we actually are. My idea is that life of every human is dedicated to opening this inner self and being actually human.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live alone in 90m flat and recently moved to the Netherlands myself. I would enjoy company and would enjoy to travel around Amsterdam to show stuff I like but noone to share with. I am busy at weekdays working--times but hey, it's Amsterdam, you will find your way around pretty quickly.
I have an inflammable mattress (i wrote that somewhere else in the profile) and some bed linen and stuff suitable to host a single or a couple. And there is an empty room in my apartment. So feel fee to ask :D

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have decent couchserfing experience as a host. Though haven't surfed myself yet :)
My experience is positive, it was all fun, easy and comfortable. Always nice to enjoy the city with new people!

Interests

I am a lot into psytrance and a lot of connected subcultures. So please make sure you are ok with dark psytrance music 24/7. I also like ecology, festivals, nature, travelling, reading, spending a lot of time in the forests, making fire or living outdoors and camping in quite extreme conditions and/or locations.

Music, Movies, and Books

Let's start with music. I love psytrance. I can hardly imagine my life without it. Mostly forest psytrance, darkprog and that kind of trippy stuff. I also enjoy psychillout a lot, sometimes a nice minimal techno is a good relaxing evening.
Movies emm.. well I like anything that is at least a tiny bit unpredictable and less commercial. Movies that have a message. Like The Matrix or HOME. I can also enjoy a nice European comedy or a British one, love their humour. What I don't enjoy are action movies, horrors and love stories. Sorry =)
Books - I like Russian novelist Victor Pelevin. Ken Kesey is also good and most of lsd enlightened writers of the 80's

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing trip was to India. It was breathtaking and new. Changed me a lot.
The most amazing thing I have been to was the day when I woke up in my tent at the Boom festival in portugal and realized all my stuff was stolen including wallet and passport. That was a great experience to have. Once in a life I hope :D
