About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To save North East London from doom, and to see the world while my eyes still focus and my brain still remembers. Because, I'd rather be the batty ol' biddy who lived too much than the one with loads of regrets!
ABOUT ME
I am smaller than most, but that’s never stopped me doing anything… even reaching the top shelf. I like to laugh and can usually find the brighter, lighter side of things and make a joke. I love to see, do and just be. I am always plotting and planning, and am known as the hyper one with far too much energy. I am very fortunate in my life and I have a job I really enjoy and believe in. I can and usually do manage to have an intelligent, philosophical and completely blonde conversation with anyone within the space of five minutes, and I couldn’t imagine a world without other people.
I grew up in the sticks and I love the freedom of the outside world, but I also love the bustle of the City and enjoy living so close to Central London. I spent many years as a health/maternity care assistant so witnessed birth, death and everything in-between giving me more grounding than I could ever begin to describe.
PHILOSOPHY
I am not someone who believes in destiny or fate, nor am I someone that is inclined just to ‘go with the flow’ because I don’t like feeling like a hapless passenger in my own life. I have the will, so I always find the way. But above anything else I live for adventure, and can find one in even the most mundane places, it seems to be ingrained within me. From my first adventure outside my back garden, to dragging every new friend and their bike on the cross country ‘loop’ across, around and literally in several farmers fields, and even to conning my new school mates to get on the high speed train to London by telling them it *really* did stop at our station just so I could see London (thankfully forgiven!), I have always craved it.

I'd give you one... would you?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hope that I will be able to show people around the amazingness that is London Town, the delights of rural Cambridgeshire, take them on short day trips to Brighton, and most of all if there is enough ice this year show someone the wonders of 'fen skating' I even have a few spare pairs of skates!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I traveled across Spain with three nurses and stayed with some really amazing people, learning so much and having a really amazing time.
