I'm happy with myself and I want to meet people loving life! I plan to experience this journey as a world citizen by any natural means. I ache to understand all perspectives in order to gain an honest respect for all humanity and to learn who I am.
I wake up everyday just happy to be alive. I don't feel restricted to stereotypes, gender roles, or outside expectations. The world is my stage and I'm honored to have this opportunity to sing my song.
I love to let fate take her course (control is an illusion anyway, isn't it?). There are definitely moments that require strong decision making and progressive action, but I really enjoy "letting go", just to see what my destiny will be. In this way, acceptance is different from laziness. In fact, there are plenty of things worth fighting for.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I open myself up to the good people around me. So far, I've had only good experiences with Couch Surfing. This network is revolutionizing travel and cultural exchange as we know it!
I love climbing trees, riding my Harley, playing with doggies, eating curry without silverware, studying natural medicine, horseback riding, spitting watermelon seeds, laughing with my momma til 4 in the morning, camping and caving (sometime simultaneously), dancing in waterfalls, playing my Ovation, having deep philosophical conversations in foreign languages, and exploring foreign lands while letting new friends teach me about myself.

Music, Movies, and Books
Dostoyevsky is my favorite European writer, but Native American literature is my favorite of all. In terms of movies, I love those archaic, demented comedies and Soviet films with the haunting music.... On a musical note, I can appreciate any music that requires talented individuals to compile their musical experiences into one, great, community-building audible pleasure. Music is a group event. Sometimes I fear that we've forgotten that.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last summer, I rode my motorcycle across this amazing country alone. It was a 6 week adventure that allowed me to prove to myself how strong and capable a woman I am. It also ignited in me an irrepressible wonder that made me proud to be from this beautiful place.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've always been interested in learning skills unpopular to my generation - the dying arts which were previously the skills by which people thrived. More specifically, and hence, one of the main reasons for travelling, I'm quite curious about the skills which were regionally necessary to survival and well-being. Folklore, local dialect, music, and oral history are all fascinating to me and so enriching to travelers. I would also be thrilled to acquire some skill in local cuisine, whether traditional or contemporary. I am of the opinion that everyone has something I can learn from!
