I'm on my 29th trip around the sun, and I have no permanent residence. I dropped out of University. I don't have a real job. I make my way around trying to see as much of this beautiful planet as I can. I love hearing the stories people have to share, exploring the natural beauty of this earth, learning about different cultures, and am constantly amazed by the world around me. I have an open mind and a loving heart, and I have lived enough to spot the difference between the genuine and contrived.

Currently, I live on the west coast of B.C. on Vancouver Island. I'm not able to host anyone right now but maybe one day if I settle down :)

In a couple of weeks I plan to take off indefinitely, beginning in Mysore, India to study yoga, and heading north into Nepal from there, after that maybe back to India...maybe somewhere new...

It would be great to meet some locals along my journey to impart their wisdom, or just have some fun.

I would like to make it clear that I am looking for travel buddies and friendship only. I'm not looking for dates, hook ups, etc. Just want to meet some cool people along my way.

I love to spend all day lazily suntanning on a beach, but I also like to get outside and hike, bike, run, walk etc. I enjoy learning about history, reading about everything, hearing lectures, visiting museums, temples, landmarks etc, but I could also happily waste an afternoon drinking pints in a pub or wine on a patio and enjoying the lighter side of life.

I respect all religions as well as one's right to practice and follow their faith, but would like to point out that I myself am not religious and although I would like to learn about your religion I would not like to have people try to convert me. (In the past my curious nature has elicited this type of response.)

Music...This is a tough one. Musically, my tastes are open and broad, but I definitely know what I don't like. If it's honest, has a little heart, beautiful lyrics, interesting composition, or a sick beat, I'm into it. I like a lot of different electronic music, funk, soul, bluegrass, folk, rock etc. I really can't stand pop music, most newer country, or aggressive electronic ie industrial dubstep

Movies...I don't watch too many movies these days....usually I prefer documentaries but I'll watch just about anything.
