ABOUT ME

I think I'm a pretty straight forward person and honesty is always the best policy! I enjoy spending my time with my friends out and about; dancing the night away; or at home with a good movie and a bottle of wine or just talking! It's amazing how many hours disappear when you're having a good conversation.

I am more than happy spending all day in a museum or art gallery providing there is a tea and cake interval!

My friends are the most important part of my life and I'd like to make some more whilst seeing the world and showing people around my home town!

I am looking to meet some lovely people based in Japan as I will be heading out there at the end of March 2011 for a couple of months- hoping to catch the cherry blossom!!

I'm also planning to hit New York in December 2011 so if anyone needs a house/pet sitter over christmas and new year...haha! Or could give me some top tips for my stay, that would be wonderful!

My main interest was escaping my job but I've just resigned! Hurrah! After so many years of predictability- 12 years and 11 months is a long ol' time to be shelving books! I'm longing for new experiences. New people, new locations, new food, new cultures!

Well the above information about working in a library and having a media degree should indicate that I love books,music,film and TV. And I do, muchly.

I always look forward to the latest Chuck Palahniuk- Survivor being my bestest.

I wrote my final dissertation on the evolution of zombies in film. Haha! That was fun! I love the original Romero trilogy, 28 days later and Planet terror.

My love of film doesn't stop there-anything from French new wave to Hollywood blockbusters and pretty much anything inbetween.

A few other favourites: Alien, Lars and the real girl, Bourne trilogy, Monty Python and the holy grail. I caught Oliver! on the TV the other day and forgot what a great film it is- Be warned I do love singing along,and singing is not one of my talents but it makes me feel good- so there!!
