About Me

Live life to the fullest

I am an outgoing friendly girl who likes the company of friends and family, loves to learn about things. I am currently trying to learn German on my free time. Also very interested in learning French and Italian. I love to visit different places, get to know different people, languages and cultures. I love animals, traveling, and reading. Making new friends and having fun. Creativity. British accent. I like to try different types of beer when I can.

I have Italian taste in food and am very interested in practicing sports. I usually run. Preferably in the morning. I love running. It just takes your mind off things, relaxes you at the same time that it pumas you up with energy.

I like watching series in general. American Dad, Game of Thrones, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Alphas, Dexter, True Blood, True Detective, Family Guy, New Girl, Chuck, Vampire Diaries (go ahead and judge me), and the classic Friends.

Something I could do the whole day is drawing and reading and writing and eating. I am a vegetarian (almost vegan currently) and being the romantic cancerian I am, I'm a big dreamer. I believe that humanity could not survive if not for dreams. They foster us to move forward and to chase after what we desire.

I LOVE people who make me laugh, I appreciate the delight of irony - but not sarcasm. I am currently in the process of writing a book - and, cliché, I have been currently in the process of writing a book for sometime now. Whatever I wish for and do not find in reality, I just take a sheet of paper and a pencil and create. Some people will tell you I'm a nerd. It's important that you never believe them.

The simple and true, though cliché: be happy.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

I am interested in making new friends while visiting places around the world. I would be very happy to show people around my city and be at their disposal for company and sharing a beer or two or simply going to a park or to the movies. I may not, however, have the time to do that though and I apologize in advance.

I have met some amazing people, who kindly agreed to meet my friends and me when we were traveling and show us around their city.

Some of the things that I'm interested in include sports, literature, music, languages, cultures, nature, knowing places, fiction, and above all, cinema. Drawing, horseback riding. Watching sitcoms and channels, cooking. I am addicted to playing board games, card games, or just any games in general. I mean it. Addicted. I will always lure you into start playing a game and then never stopping.

Beware. You were warned.

Also, as of lately I have developed an interest and taste for baseball.

Music, Movies & Books

CANNOT live without movies, music and books. Important ingredients to a happy and fulfilled life. A world without fantasy is a dead world.

Some of the favorites:

Music: Lately the main indie American folk singer Brett Dennen. And always the indie folk Death Cab for Cutie, alternative rock Snow Patrol, piano rock The Fray, The Decemberists, Daniel Zott, and the sweet Brit Dido. The Beatles, the Kooks, Garbage, Oasis, No Doubt. Nora Jones, Michael Bublé, the Californians RHCP, the great blues of The Headcutters. The Brit trio Adele, Lili Allen, and Amy Winehouse. Paramore, the surf of Jack Johnson and Jason Mraz, and classy Nina Simone. City Owl, Amos Lee, Corinne Bailey Rae, The Gaslight Anthem, and Simon and Gafunkel.

Movies: All adaptations of favorite books along with Snatch, The Italian Job, Ocean's 11 (t12, 13, 14, 9876328721). I either hate or love Woody Allen's. Always have lots of fun with animations. Especially good: Despicable Me, Finding Nemo, Tangled, Shrek.

Books: fiction sagas such as The Lord of The Rings, Hunger Games, Harry Potter, The Mortal Instruments, and A song of Ice and Fire. Also like the quick-witted Brit Nick Hornby very much, especially High Fidelity. Catcher in the Rye, The Great Gatsby, and The Idiot. The Picture of Dorian Gray and all Anne Rice's.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Breathtakingly beautiful trip from Nepal to Tibet through a countryside mountain way.

Teach, Learn, Share

I might be able to share stories from my trips if they would be any interesting to you and how to cook delicious chocolate chip cookies. I will be interested in learning almost anything you have to tell me.
