ABOUT ME

I've got that itch to see the world, but not through the eyes of a vacation package.
My closest friends describe me as being a classy lady with a bit of an edge... and a tad on the eccentric side.
I love meeting people, though I tend to be shy in large group settings.
I'm pretty nerdy. I store away fun facts that I can only remember on certain occasions. Reading the newspaper and Time magazine is a favorite pastime. One of my main goals as a Surfer is to learn. I'm passionate about people and culture and want to saturate myself in other lifestyles.
I have a lot of random fantasies that I consider romantic. Example: I want to join a convent in Italy... and then run away. The running away part is key. There's something very romantic about running away. My bucket list is full of odd things such as that.
I collect quotes from books, music, word of mouth, ect... If I start writing something while we're talking don't be offended, it's probably because you said something I liked.

Interests

I'm a spring child. I flourish when the weather starts getting warm. I love flowers and playing outside. I like exploring the woods and finding old barns and abandoned buildings. I go most places barefoot, I dislike wearing real shoes. I love large furry dogs and hairless cats. I want to have a massive garden someday. I don't have hobbies because I'm the type of person that is endlessly trying new things. My ultimate goal in life is to move to New Zealand. I want to do all the extreme sports like sky diving and bungy jumping. I'm not interested in marriage, but I am interested in children. I like to surf sperm banks. I love vintage and thrift stores; most of my favorite things to wear I've bought for less than five dollars. I'm studying Occupational Therapy in school and am very interested in Sociology.

I love reading. Hard to pick favorites, but a couple are Alice In Wonderland, The Glass Castle, Pet Sematary, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, Everything Is Illuminated, and Winter's Bone

Music

My taste in music changes frequently, I like almost anything, although I've yet to develop a tast for country. Some favorites are Caribou, Puscifer, Gogol Bordello, Mimicking Birds, Depeche Mode, Joanna Newsom, A Perfect Circle, Sufjan Stevens, anything Conor Oberst has been apart of.

Movies

I'm a fan of indie flicks and cult classics. Some of my favorite movies are The Royal Tenenbaums, No Country for Old Men, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Fight Club, Harold and Maude, Requiem for a Dream, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Little Shop of Horrors, The Big Lebowski, Pulp Fiction, Pan's Labrynth, Inglorious Basterds, Everything Is Illuminated, Pet Sematary, Donnie Darko, Edward Scissorhands, American Psycho, and The Orphanage.
