To try and see more of the world and meet new people- also start to host as many people as I can from across the world.

ABOUT ME

Born a Sri Lankan and have lived most of my life on a paradise Island, was fortunate to also have lived in the UK and the USA, and now living in Vienna, Austria. Travel is my passion- especially meeting new people and trying out various food. I am a pretty relaxed and chill typed person. I have had my own Hostels in Sri Lanka which was an absolutely brilliant time and has also worked in the corporate sector. I enjoy people, food, music, and a good drink with friends.

PHILOSOPHY

I hope to enjoy the simple things in life- which we forget. I believe in the power and importance of good and real friends..

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to host as many people as I can. unfortunately I have not been able to host as many people as I would like to. I think this is a great project and I would love to spend more time meeting and hanging out with other CS members sharing life and travel adventures.
What can be better than to go somewhere and meet the someone from the place, or have people come from all over the world and meet them..

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met some incredible people via CS who I would have not met otherwise. However, this also mean that my hours of sleep have drastically reduced (gosh I miss my sleep). I think the whole concept of CS is great... would love to show more people Sri Lanka - well now Vienna.

Interests

Rather a wide range of interests. Traveling would be the obvious one. I used to play the Drums so im into music quite a bit. I enjoy cooking and most of all I love to have a good time- be it alone or with people.

Shantharam & White Tiger -two great books
Too many movies- from the Godfather type to the Dirty Dancing to more thought out movies.. Gosh movies are awesome.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well I can teach a bit of international relations, management, drums, and I guess some Sri Lankan cooking (or European if your not from Europe)..and I can guarantee you a first class education into going out and having a bad hangover..
