¡Hola!

My name is Anne. I'm from Germany. At the moment I am doing my college entrance qualification.

I normally wanted to start a year abroad this year but I couldn't find a voluntary place.. so I hope to explore another country (hopefully the UK!) next year (:

What else can I tell you about me... well I love to watch good shows (Walking Dead, GoT, Merlin, Doctor Who, New Girl, Sherlock, Supernatural, ...) and if I don't watch those shows... I either sleep, eat or drink... okay.. not only.. I also love to hang around with friends or to do some voluntary work. (:

Simple: I just love the idea of getting to know new cultures and telling people about my culture!

Interests

This summer I started working as often as possible as volunteer. Some projects were: WordSkills (a event where the best trainees from all over the world held competitions), Documentary and Animation Festival, City within a city (children built their own wooden city). And also a started working in the field press and public relation for a children hospice.

Countless!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One experience which was really great:
I worked as an intern at a kindergarten. One girl was very afraid of the noise of a lawnmower. As I had the girl on my arm and I could calm her down as she cried really badly... just telling her the story why it's so noisy and seing her becoming more comfortable was a big reward as well as the statement of my boss: "Good job, I couldn't have handle it better!"
It just showed me how much I love kids -I had many such good but also stressful experiences at the kindergarten -but I loved it very much and enjoyed every day.
