ABOUT ME

If I am a pattern, I would be polka dotted. I have no idea why, but dots just drive me insane and I am psychotically mad about them. If I am a colour, I would be Nude/Desert Rose. It represents femininity and delirium at the same time. And if I am a pattern, I would be lace. If I was a shape, I would be an octagon. But if I were to be 4 dimensional, I would be a typewritter - spilling and spinning my dreams and emotions into letters, nothing but letters :) If a word could be use to describe me, it would be 'excitable'. You know, like in SIMS 3.

PHILOSOPHY

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

CS is completely new to me, and I am extremely excited about! I can't wait (literally vibrating) to have my first couchsurfing experience!

Interests

I love anything frou frou, and I love anything designed with great aesthetics - this coming from a communication design student :) I have weird interests really - a lot of people don't understand why I can be in love wit Sofia Coppola's work and enjoy Eli Roth's as well at the same time! I don't understand that myself either but that is just pretty much how I tick! I have one hidden talent: I can imitate different accents - often, everyone who has met me cracked up like a mad dog after my performance!

Sometimes I'd like to see the beauty in something unexpected, and I find myself entering the rabbit hole. I'm generally attracted to pretty things, but sometimes I'll just be wiki-ing what lethal injection is all about, and the last supper films.

Movies - Before Sunset/Sunrise, The Virgin Suicides, Meet Joe Black, The Graduate, The Diving Bell Jar & The Butterfly, Blow Up, American Beauty, Cashback & Resident Evil. (I know resident came out of nowhere, but a little gore just finishes off the cherry on top of a cream pie)

Music - Sufjan Stevens, Coldplay, MGMT, Broken Social Scene, Arcade Fire (I listen to pretty much anything and everything except classical musical and death metal!).

Books - The Bell Jar, Lolita, After Dark.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not a big deal to most people, but it was a misty morning (and misty mornings are rare in singapore, except my area bc it is not fully developed), and then rain came falling down.

The rain looked like small tiny snow , accompanied by the beautiful heather grey sky. The wind blew and whispered 'stranger in moscow'. Everywhere was quiet, and the rain came down in slow-mo. I looked up and saw nothing but beauty in this.

Till this day, I am still in awe at of the colours in the sky. The sky is too too beautiful. I've captured shots of the sky in orange, pink, purple, red, the most innocent sky blue and breath-taking turquoise.

Teach, Learn, Share

Always compliment, but make sure it comes from your heart. Spreading a little sunshine won't hurt - make someone feel good about themselves.
