ABOUT ME

Hi there, my name is Joe. I just recently moved to Chile, where I am planning to stay for one year to learn the language, make new friends and generally have a new and exciting experience. I have been told that I am kind and friendly, I am definitely tolerant of all different types of people, and I often find myself quite funny, although it is debatable whether anyone else does.

I like to experience new things and places and meet new people, hence joining this site. I can also be a bit of a homebody, but am usually willing to be taken out of my comfort zone in that regard.

Interests

When I am at home and not at work, I spend most of my time with my friends, usually sitting around in a bar drinking beer or occasionally engaged in more active pursuits like playing tennis. So yeah, I like drinking beer and other types of alcohol, hanging out with people whom I get along with, and just generally chilling out. I also like eating different types of food from around the world, something for which Australia is really good.

When i am travelling, I like to take it easy, enjoy a bit of local nightlife, but more get out during the daytime and see all the magnificent natural sights that the world has to offer.

Cuzco in Peru - the nightlife there was awesome and the scenery was amazing
The Andes mountains, particularly in the south of Chile and in the Bolivian Altiplano
Rome just for the food, so delicious
