To experience all the world has to offer
I'm an Aussie travelling around the world with my mate Zetland. In Australia I was in the transport industry for the past seven years or so, one night I was out with Zet and we impulsively decided to buy some flights to Japan, we bought one way tickets and then our trip to Japan snowballed into a trip around the world, we both sold everything, quit our jobs and here we are.
It says to tell you what my best friends would say about me, I think they would say that I am an asshole, but beneath that is someone that would do absolutely anything in his control to help out his friends. They would also probably say that I am pretty funny, fairly clever and of course, incredibly good looking, probably to the point of being proffesionally good looking (there's the jokes).
Live every week like it's shark week!
One of my favourite quotes is "I wouldn't trade one stupid decision for another five years of life". That was James Murphy from LCD Soundsystem and it basically means don't regret anything, I try to live by that, never regret anything, if it's good you wouldn't regret it and if it's bad then you just learn from it.
I love music, new music, old music, just not crap music, ie akon and kesha and that little doucheface justin bieberino, manufactured crap that is made only to make money really makes my blood angered.
I play guitar and my mum says i'm getting better, so you know it's true.
This whole travelling business is probably another interest of mine, the past three months I have experienced some truly amazing things, met people who I will hopefully be lifelong friends with and seen beauty that has taken my breath away. It's been crazy!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was on holiday with a friend in Thailand last year, he had a couple local friends who I was introduced to who came to Australia later in the year, I showed them around Melbourne for a couple of days. I went and saw them in Thailand during this trip, one of the guys owns a hostel/bar on Koh Tao, one of the islands in the south. We arrived here and Chay (my friend) took us in and treated us like family, he housed us, he fed us, he gave us booze and he partied hard with us. I was amazed that this guy, who didn't have much, would give me and my friends all that he could and treated us like family, his generosity was just so incredible, it left me in awe. Love that guy.
So ever since I was a kid i've wanted to be a pilot, last year I finally got off my arse and began doing lessons, the first lesson they get you to take off which is incredibly cool, but the first time I ever landed the plane (without the help of the instructor) was the most amazing and exhilerating thing I have ever done. I've done some very cool and andrenalin pumping stuff in my time, been skydiving, love adventures and camping and diving off cliffs and things like that, but I have never done anything that has got my blood pumping as much as landing that plane, it was awesome!
