Hi! I'm Chris! I'm friendly and outgoing and I love to be in the outdoors. I grew up in Washington state and theres nowhere better than being in the mountains. I'm an avid rock climber, and a mediocre drummer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I plan on doing a lot of traveling around the US on climbing trips and am excited to meet new people and make friends around the country. I also enjoy sharing my sport with new people, so if you're interested in trying climbing, lets go out there and do it!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I don't know, there are too many great ones. I love a good comedy or action film though, and I appreciate movies that are just really unusual like Inception or Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
Books: Tuesdays with Morrie is great, though sad. House of Leaves is a great read too.
Music: I like most things, particularly mid 90s to mid 2000's rock, but I can listen to just about anything.

I wen't on a safari in Africa and hugged a baby elephant. His name was Charlie :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy teaching outdoor climbing skills and in the future I'd like to become a mountain guide. I can also teach you aircraft maintenance if you're so inclined to learn, but its boring stuff. I'd like to learn how to see the world from different points of view. I don't like to think of things as being so black and white when some things we hold true, simply aren't.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd love to share some good conversation over a few beers, or take you out hiking and climbing. I like meeting new people and making new friends, and I can get along with just about anyone.
