About Me

Please read the “what I can share section” so you understand that I don’t live in downtown Shanghai and that I only have one bed. If you send a request please mention you’re cool with this because I want to make sure everyone who stays has a good experience and isn’t surprised with the location or sleeping arrangement haha

My dream in life has always been to travel the world. So once I graduated university in December 2016 I left home and I've been living my dream ever since.

I am a very happy and easygoing person and I'll always say yes to every opportunity and new experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am in love with travelling. The places I visit are memorable but it's truly the friends I've made that make travelling unforgettable. This is the reason I joined couchsurfing and it's been the best decision I've made.

Since I've started travelling I've fallen in love with taking photos. I'm not a good photographer but I'm a happy one.

I love anything outdoors, particularly being in nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: nirvana, vampire weekend, cloud control, tame impala, queen, led zeppelin, DMAs.

Movies: lord of the rings (I'm a bit of a nerd)

Books: haven't read as much as I'd like to but I enjoyed the kite runner and 1984. Also anything by Roald Dahl.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiking - so many great adventures and stories.

Swimming with a while whale shark was a unique and terrifying/exhilarating experience.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my experiences of living in Tasmania/Australia and also my stories of traveling in the countries I've been to (I have many stories as I've been backpacking since December 2016)

PLEASE understand that A) I live in Jiading (North Jiading metro station, end of metro line 11, about an hour by metro from downtown) + 25 minutes bus or 10 minute taxi from North Jiading station - so totally 1.5 hours from home to downtown, and B) I can only offer a shared bed or a sleeping bag and sleeping mat because my room is not big. If you’re an easygoing backpacker it will be ok but if you like luxury and comfort this is not the place for you haha!

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Cambodia, France, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Viet Nam
