Hey there, my name is Chris Pettet and I come from the phenomenal city that is Leeds in the United Kingdom. I love back home but was ready for a change so put life back home on the back burner and left for South Africa in February. Would think I am a confident and outgoing 19 year old who is always up for a laugh and trying new things. I have done so much in my life so far and I really hope to just keep that up. I am trying to learn some Swedish at the moment and I love to read.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Currently travelling around the world for 6 months on a gap year and I have heard great things about the Couchsurfing community so thought I would give it a shot and a chance to meet some great people in some incredible places.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Surfed with Dolphins in Jeffrey's bay, Swam with penguins in Simons town, South Africa; been shark cage diving with great whites, scuba dived with a 250lb turtle in Koh tao, Thailand.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would like to think I can offer an interesting character with lots to tell and to share. Would like to describe myself as out going and up for experiencing new and exciting things in life. I feel like for my age I am very mature and have experienced a lot of the world and want to continue that.
