About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My current missions are; conquering this "empty nest syndrome" LOL .... de-cluttering 36 years of living in this house, and figuring out the next chapter of my life. (to name a few) :-)
ABOUT ME
I am 56, have two grown children, (in college) and I enjoy people. I grew up overseas, and LOVE to travel. I have hosted over the years, through "up with people" and foreign exchange students(for a school year). While I am no longer able to travel, I am living vicariously through all you that "couchsurf"! :-). I'm easy going, open-minded and love life!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think prejudices, etc. can be eliminated if people had the opportunity to travel and share in "others" lives , customs, etc. ... If I can help in some small way to make that happen for someone, then I feel I have helped make the world a tiny bit better. Offering a free place to sleep and a meal or two is such a small thing in helping someone achieve their dream of traveling.
Interests
I am a lover of all things, but a master of none. :-(
I love organic gardening, water harvesting, photography, baking, cooking, helping other people, doing volunteer work and anything to do with children or animals! I have 4 rescue cats, so I hope you are not allergic.
I love the whole concept of "www.couchsurfing.org" and "www.warmshowers.org" and am eager to assist anyone needing help accomplishing their dream of travel.
