About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see the world as the locals see it. Not to interested in the big tourist traps.
ABOUT ME
I really enjoy hiking, exploring, adventures, anything that gets me out of the city and into nature. I Love getting out of civilization to where the wind blowing through the trees is literally the only thing you can hear. Seeing things that people rarely see, and never turning down a chance to go on an adventure.
PHILOSOPHY
Never say no to a new experience no matter how big or small it may be.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I try and go into the mountains at least once a month all year, but sometimes I can't make it. I am very interested in hosting couch surfers and hearing there stories, and enjoying the time spent with company to learn about other cultures, and ways of life.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Haven't done much couch surfing. Only ones I've done was going up to Toronto Canada, and out to San Fransisco, CA. Both were fun trips, and the people I met were really cool. In San Fransisco we went to fisherman's warf, hit up a New Found Glory concert, and rode horses for 2 days. In Canada we went to a cabin on a beautiful lake, and explored around there. Even found some wild blueberries that were amazing!
Interests
Anything outdoors. Unfortunately none of my friends growing up really shared this fascination and so I would consider myself still relatively new to anything beyond basic backpacking and camping. I would love to learn all the outdoors stuff such as long term backpacking, kayaking, river boarding, snowboarding, rock climbing, downhill biking. Anything really, and if anyone else is new and looking for someone to learn with, I'd be more than happy to join up with someone else!

Music, Movies, and Books
Rise Against, Blue October, Taking Back Sunday, New Found Glory, Blink 182, Lost Boys Confusion. Books I'll read anything from the classics (right now I'm reading a compilation of short stories by Edgar Allen Poe, and The Inferno of Dante) to modern sci fi and fantasy books, to self improvement...and of course travel books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most beautiful sunset I have ever seen was at the top of Pikes Peak (14,110ft above sea level) and watching the sun go down behind dozens of mountain tops was truly breathtaking and an experience I will never forget!
Teach, Learn, Share
Again, I would love to learn anything, from carpentry, to cooking, Sewing to snow shoeing. Anything and everything is welcome in my home!
