About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I travel a fair bit, mostly on my own dime. Always grateful for a couch to sleep on and hospitality.
ABOUT ME
* If we asked your best friends about you, what kinds of things would they say?
They would say "He's crazy!" But I'm not...they are. All of them! (That's why we get along - birds of a feather...)
I'm easygoing, respectful of other people's stuff, and hospitable. I'm always very grateful for people who share these qualities. I've met several good friends in my journeys and I look forward to many more.
I'm up for a drink at a local bar, a stand-up/improv comedy show, or a music concert, but my party-until-dawn days are behind me. Now that I'm in my late 30's, I'm beginning to appreciate a relaxing night at home!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been doing it for years, just never with the benefit of a website. Most of the time I ask my friends if they have a friend in whatever town I'm going to. This opens up so many new possibilities!
Interests
I think most of the things I enjoy, both in travel and at home, could be categorized as either Nerdy, Artistic, Athletic, or Adventurous. I'm a science and American history buff, a lover of visual, auditory, and performance arts, a fan of football and basketball, and I love an adrenaline rush!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm very lucky to have several such moments, but the one that really sticks out:
When I went paragliding off Grouse Mountain in Vancouver. As someone who would love nothing more than to be reincarnated as a hawk or eagle, it was absolute bliss!
