ABOUT ME

I'm 61, divorced, relatively healthy, curious, well-read, observant, opinionated. I like reading, music, film, constructive activity. I can be witty and funny if relaxed but tend to be formal and reticent (very English) when in unfamiliar territory. I can get along with almost anyone and have no obvious insecurities. I take pleasure in problem-solving and am confident as a handyman/general laborer.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I usually take my lead from others, often waiting for specific instructions. When assigned a task I usually complete it without further guidance. I like to do projects but will balk if the prescribed approach appears inefficient or misguided. Not a good answer to the question re. CS, but possibly helpful.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I used to mix sound for big-time rock bands, major jazz festivals, etc. I was good at it and happened to be involved at a time when the industry changed from a haphazard, seat of the pants model to the professional, technologically sophisticated format of today. Not that it sounds any better these days...
