Preparing to fulfill my dream to visit UK cities for one year

ABOUT ME

I have two children. My son works and my daughter studies in a university. I am a university teacher. I love reading, traveling, bicycling, and watching good movies. When I studied in London, I had great pleasures in staying with several families under HOST sponsored by British Council. On one way, I would like to return my friendship to Britainers; on the other, as I didn’t see much when I studied there, I plan to visit UK and stay there for one year in the future. I hope that the travelers I receive now could be my possible hosts when I visit UK again, probably in 2011 or 2016.

PHILOSOPHY

Reading to learn is a joy, and traveling offers even more happiness to one's life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven no CS experiences yet, but I did visit several host families under HOST UK when I studied in London a few years back. I enjoyed pleasant time with families in Essex, Kent, Brighton, North Davon, and Lake District. I even got invited as a repeated visitor in families both in Essex and Lake District. The friendship offered by these British families inspired me to offer my place as a spot of CS in Taipei. I welcome lady travellers from all corners of Great Britain.

Interessen

I love to learn, and I enjoy updating myself by reading lots of things from the Internet everyday. I also like gardening and I keep a few pots of plants in my balcony. Watering them and watching their buddings are a kind of joy to me.

For sometimes in the past, I experienced a long period of rainy days. It is amazing that I walked through those difficulty times.
