Couchsurfing caught my attention when I read an article about it in the newspaper. This report made me remember my wonderful time as an Au Pair in London. Therefore I signed in and now let´s see what happens. In addition to that we bought a new monster couch that is four meters long and it needs to be used.

Luckily I had the opportunity to work for half a year in the gift shop on Liberty Island below the Statue of Liberty in New York City and live in Brooklyn.

My attitude towards meeting other people is expressed nicely in the Indian way of greeting with the words "Namaste" which means as much as "I bow to the divine in you". Of course I do not always suceed in following that phrase but I try as much as I can :-)
