Hi everyone! My name is Christian and I'm 27 years old living in Los Angeles for about half of this year (2017) and traveling for the other half. I decided to quit my full time job early this year to focus on just traveling, however, I somehow managed to launch a start up with a couple buddies of mine in the VR (virtual reality) space. When I am home I enjoy going to many of the free concerts in LA, playing sports such as tennis and basketball, basking in the beautiful LA sun, and obviously eating my way through the city. Due to work, but also for leisure purposes, I spend a decent amount of time around the LA area which means I'm stuck in traffic quite a bit. That does mean that I've been able to experience the different cultures and people which each neighborhood brings. There always seems to be a new hidden gem when you're least expecting it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I am going to have an abundance of free time this year, I would love to take the opportunity to show people around. Whether it be going to restaurants, bars, seeing specific attractions, attending a sporting event, or anything else that may come up. I love putting together suggestions for people since there are so many options and they all will attract a different crowd.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: R&B and Hip Hop (preferably old school), anything made in the 70's and 80's across rock, pop, soul, etc., Country, Indie/Rock/Alternative (I'm pretty sure they're all the same).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just got done traveling Europe for 3 months and was definitely a learning experience and taught me more about my character. I missed flights/trains, slept on the street for one night because I got locked out of the hostel and didn't have the key, met some amazing people who will be life long friends, and learned more about the history of the various cities than I probably do about my own.
