我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I really want to immerse myself in the places I'm travelling to, not to see the touristy, clichéd side of a city, but get the unique, local's perspective on their home town. But I also want to meet people who's life experience is entirely different to my own, who see the world differently and hopefully chat with them over a glass of wine/scotch/tea/coffee and a lot of good food.

Not that I have done it yet, but the most amazing thing I will have done is the 350km solo trek from Oviedo, Spain to Santiago de Compostela, Spain (part of the Primitivo Way of the Camino de Santiago). Getting ready for some intense blisters.
