Overview
About Me
I am a scientist with an artistic temperament. Outdoors is the best, but I'm also into the trappings of big city life. I am an assistant professor of biology and my research interests revolve around zoology and physiology. I spent a good part of my 20s at basement punk shows, I've been to Burning Man a couple of times, and I definitely reside off the beaten path.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I had a friend in South Africa who hosted a lot of folks (I got the chance to co-host with him), and I dig how mutually rewarding it is. I'm going to be traveling solo through Finland this summer, and I'm looking forward to meeting other explorers.
Interests
I love live music, good wine, cooking, campfires, hiking, reading, movies, singing, and dogs (I will love your dog!). I also pick up rocks. All the time.
