Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
happiness and fun.
ABOUT ME
me.
as a person, i think i'm happy, casual and relaxed, love a laugh and love to meet new people...
I come with a partner-in-crime, Toma. We sort of recently returned from a 4 month journey - Vietnam, Japan, China, Mongolia, Russia (Trans Siberian railway) and into/throughout Europe. Truly awesome.
On a normal day of life in Sydney, i work in design/development of 'fashion' and accessories. before this, while living in Berlin (what a town!) I worked for a fashion event focused on sustainability/eco stuff..
in my own time i also have a constant need to be making or creating something or other (crafting nerd alert!)
I understand that everyone has their own ideas of what cs is for them, but for us, we aren't interested in simply seeking a free bed when surfing nor simply providing a free bed when hosting - connecting with people is important to us. we've both gained lasting friendships via cs... so this should give you an idea of where we stand.
PHILOSOPHY
try to be the best person you can.... not necessarily in a goal-oriented way, but in a good-hearted way. exercise a bit of awareness, in yourself and the world around you.
making the most of what you do have in your life rather than concerning yourself with what you don't. strive to be happy within yourself, without any reliance on anything or anyone else...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
on my travels, i have met some genuine, warm, kind people who i remember and am happy to remember... i hope to be able to pass that on to people i meet. spreading the positive energy, people!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
positive all the way.
have surfed couches in sweden, finland, denmark, turkey, india and russia, hosted while living in berlin and sydney... and occasionally met with a few cs-ers here in Sydney for some drinks, beach-time and brekkies!
have only met fantastic people all the way and have even made some truly lasting friendships...
highlights: celebrating midsommer in Goteborg with some crazy swedes, rooftop dinners in centre of new delhi, concerts, late night galavanting in the backstreets of eastside-istanbul, dreamy late afternoon picnicing by the river in a beautiful (huuuge) park in Moscow!
Interests
