Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started this to plan a long trip to the Southern States with my friend, but this is such a lovely community and I plan to be so much more involved.

Interests

I do the Great Books Program at St. John's College, so I love thinking and reading and talking; but recently I've just been wanting to live and have adventures, and write, and finish becoming fluent in Chinese (I come from Singapore, not China). Learning and expressing are two sides of the same coin!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Standing on the iced-up ridge watching the sun slip over the high plateaus of the grand canyon.

At 5.30pm, when I drive down from the little mountain that my college is on, the sun is setting in front of me and washing the sky with color - and behind, the sky is dark blue and the just-risen moon touches the very top of the mountains.
