Chris: I find my roots in the midwest, but ever since moving to the southeast to study I've discovered my yearn to have new experiences. I can be a little shy at first, but once I warm up I love making new friends and sharing new experiences. I am a person of simple taste, good company is really all I need to have a good time.

Cheyenne: I was born in Germany and raised back and forth between Germany and Atlanta until I was about 13. I can be extremely extroverted as well as very introverted. I love meeting new people! I really enjoy cloud gazing, elephants, my great dane Blau, and eating Vietnamese food.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Chris/Cheyenne: Being a college student, we don't have a lot of extra money to spend. However, we do not want this to deter our desires to travel and see new places. We hope that one day when we establish ourselves more we will be able to host future couch surfers to give back to the community.

Interests

Chris: I love the outdoors. Being an eagle scout hiking and camping have always been some of my top interests. There is nothing quite like a breath of fresh air in the great outdoors. Besides that I like listening to music and going to concerts, watching documentaries, and hanging out with friends.

Cheyenne: I really like clouds.

~Books: Jodi Piccoult is my favorite author, but my favorite book is Cloud Atlas

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Chris: I have to say one amazing thing I've done is studying mandarin Chinese in china. I had been studying the language since high school, and having the opportunity to learn and utilize what I was learning at the same time was amazing. I've always been fascinated by Chinese culture, and getting the opportunity to experience it first hand was truly profound.

Cheyenne: I can teach you some German, a line of Italian, and a few simple prayers in Hebrew! I also love learning new recipes (and eating them, of course)!
