A student of life, thats what my friend dustin calls me. I am a 23 year old man who has never fit in with this texas money town i live in :) , i am looking to find my true home in this world and find where i would want to have a family one day when i am older and i want to travel to destinations outside the US. I am a vocalist who has written lyrics to 700 songs and hope to write film scores later in life, i would say im the classic writer/ poet type at heart, i could shed tears at the sight of a beautiful skyscape or a mountain range approaching on the horizon. I just started taking interest in the older generations of cinema (old black and white movies) and i am interested in meeting you, yes you reading this! Every travel minded person i meet is so fascinating that i could spend hours in conversation with them. Each person has a lesson they could teach me & even though i am a tall & husky man i promise i will not eat all your dinner!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am interested in couch surfing because i have nothing holding me back, no kids / pets. My mom is moving to California soon with my younger sister so my closest family members will be moving soon anyway. Most importantly I share the life long desire to travel that many artists posses and i am the type to say yes to most anything that is adventurous! I am the opposite of a tourist and i live for secrete shops and the type of wisdom only old men and women know.

My favorite movie is seven psychopaths staring christopher walkin. My favorite song writes are george and ira gershwin, and kanye west lol. THE FOUNTAIN HEAD is definantly my favorite book so far

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing, i just helped my buddy tow his wifes car from an heb grocerie store by chaining his wifes 1999 voltswagen beatle to his work truck and having him drive while pulling me in the bug IN REVERSE all the way across town, at night, in HEAVY traffic. Thats when i learned that i have a base jumping thrill seeker inside me lol

This all started with a desire to know the world, Ralph Waldo Emerson said in his legendary essay "Self Reliance" basically that there is genius inside each able bodied person. That in the right moment we have the opportunity to change lives with that we create in the form of writing inventing playing or any medium of expression that is out there. What you or i create is relatable to all the peoples of the world, just because of the fact that IT WAS CREATED, by one of the people of the world. For instance have you noticed how a beautiful piece of music, dish of food, or hand sewn outfit is valued by a person of and culture or race? Its because greatness is universally understood by all.
