I am an adventurous person. I like to try new things, meet new people-although shy at first, I really open up. I am always doing something. I do have a bit of depth to me that isn't readily noticed.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Mainly, I'm single, and living in a 2-bedroom apartment. I have roommates every once in a while, but, I'd like to get to know more people from different backgrounds

Interests

I am always trying to keep myself in shape. I bike ride like crazy, I'm in the gym as often as I can be, and I do some hiking. I am also very into reading; anything that is a military thriller or action novel is good. I try to keep my mind sharp also, by doing the daily crosswords, a Sudoku every once in a while-not so good at those. I also spend time helping my church out, mainly mowing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

About 4 years ago, I did a bicycling fundraiser for cancer research. It was a 135-mile bike ride from Anchorage to Seward. 85 miles the first day, to Summit Lake Campgrounds, where they provided dinner, breakfast, showers, a glacier-fed lake for those like me to brave the swim, a concert, and, they even trucked our tents and overnight gear there for us. About 11 hours on the bike altogether.
