I love to love you, bay-bay.
Honestly - I've got a lot of platonic love to spread around, but my closest circle of friends and family (whom I cherish with all I've got) stake claim to the highest concentrations of that spreadable love. Speaking of spreadable love, I am also a total sucker for spreadable cheeses and butter.
Good food, good books, good company, good music, good conversation, good words, good images, good minds - they all make me incalculably happy. Once in a blue moon, I stumble upon a truly exceptional embodiment of one of the above; these lock into my eternal memory as the highlights of my life.
i.e., One day, as a wee girl, a forkful of Baingan Bharta was introduced to my tastebuds. Everything gelled together so amazingly well, and in the fleeting duration of a heartbeat and a heartskip, the world made perfect sense.
I still remember that day.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've encountered too many people who have been misled into believing certain myths about Los Angeles.
If you think Los Angeles has no culture and is filled with vapid, superficial snobs, I implore you to look twice. You can find, in LA, an ethnic enclave for nearly every nation in the world. Do not limit yourself to the affluent neighborhoods/tourist traps of Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Studio City, etc. Los Angeles is ENORMOUS and will take years to really get a feeling for - the different areas are as diverse as its population. Most Angelenos are amazing people. Get to know them.
