Grew up in Tokyo, Japan. Went to Hokkaido (the northern Island) for University. Had a great time there. Hanging out with friends, hiking, skiing, volunteer at national park and museum. Visited US in 2001 and ended up staying. Now enjoying the similar weather to Hokkaido, but milder, in Seattle- Camping, hiking, good beer, wine, and dear friends. One of my friend introduced me to social dancing and I'm hooked ever since. Started with Lindy hop, then discovered Blues, Balboa, Fusion, and Tango. I just had a great fun dancing Contra for the first time lately at the music festival. I want to learn West coast swing next.
Worked at an animal hospitals, recently at animal emergency room for a little and now on vacation for a while until I find the next interest.

Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing

I've traveled some for dancing events and stayed at the hosts places. As I was new to the place they gave me some good advices and tips to get around town. Which made it so enjoyable to get to know the area and having a good time with the hosts were priceless. I assume Couchsurfing is similar to it? During this vacation I thought it's a good way to meet people while I'm saving money. Since I'm between the job it would be a tremendous help. I heard some good stories about the Couchsurfing before and there is no better time than now to try!

I love gardening but unfortunately I don't have any garden or balcony. May be that's another reason I seek greenery in the outdoors.

I love most of the musics except for some little loud kind. If it is danceable, I WILL dance to it!
Movies? Oh my, I enjoy; comedy, romance, action, suspence, sci-fi, etc.

Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem(-am)

Moving to States. Of course there are lots of things which are not ideal about this country but this move opened up my eyes and enable to do things I wouldn't dream of if I stayed in Japan. Broadening of point of views are great.

Open to whatever I have to share and able to teach, and what I can learn from new friends. Depends on who you are. Each person has different interest and chemistry. If you are interested in learning some Japanese, I can certainly teach you some:) I'm not a good teacher for the dances, though. I'm just a dancing monkey.
