About Me

to save the world...or myself, which ever comes first...

I'm an eccentric artist living in the heart of one of the most diverse culturally vibrant neighborhoods in the world.

I'm here to share in the wonder of the human experience. Love being the driving force. Peace the ultimate goal. Laughter the healing power. Truth the untenable dream. Passion the guiding light. Fear the shedding skin.

Don't feed the mouth that bites you...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Host and be hosted!

I've been couch surfing most of my life, one of my first memories is in the summer of 1977 while all of my friends where back here in nyc looting during the blackout. I was in Laguna Beach, Ca sleeping on some stranger's couch whom my mom befriended whilst hitch hiking. And of course the europeans have it down to an art. I've lost track of how many couches I've stayed on over the years, from Germany to Poland, Amsterdam to Montenegro and back.

In the last three years, through CS, I've hosted about 100 people from all over the world. And made some lovely new friends whom I look forward to one day staying with at their home.

I'm into liberty, organic cooking, biking, films, art, softball, yoga, dance, massage, spas, traveling, motorcycling, meeting new people, tantra, experiencing other cultures, profound conversations, social justice issues and world peace... "All it takes for evil to flourish is for good men and women to do nothing". MLK. No justice, no peace!

Music, Movies, and Books

very eclectic mix...a little bit of everything. Kubrick. Vonnegut. Orwell. Led Zeppelin. Public Enemy. Miles. Soutine. Monet. Kandinsky.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wow! this site pulls no punches. It's probally canoeing down the Aligash waterway in Maine for 8 days when I was 14. Or skinny dipping in a crystal clear pristine lake 12,000 feet high in the sequoia national forest, California, then drinking the water. Saw two dolphins swimming down the pacific coast off of Santa Barbara, moments after participating in the harmonic convergence.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm very frugile and know where you can eat and drink well on a shoe string budget in the east village of manhattan. Thai foot reflexology and swedish massage. How to make guacamole and pico de gallo. Would like to learn your language, how to farm organically, meditation.
