ABOUT ME

I'm brand new to the Couch Surfing Community. There's really not much to me. I'm a simple guy who would rather listen and learn than speak and boast. I appreciate all cultures, and I have a thirst for knowledge that can't seem to be quenched. It seems--at least for me, anyway--that instead of having more answers as you get older, you really end up having more questions.

I also have a pretty silly sense of humor, once you get to know me.

Really, I'm an open book. If there's anything you would like to know about me, just ask.

Since I'm traveling now, I want to start off by trying surfing. I'm entertaining the idea of opening my home to fellow surfers once I get home.

Music, Movies, and Books

Where to begin? I love all types of music and I'm always looking to try something new.

I love to read. In the non-fiction category, I prefer books on philosophy, economics, satire, biographies, and world events. In the fiction category, I like thrillers, mysteries, and humor. Some of my favorite non-fiction authors include F.A. Hayek, Dr. Thomas Sowell, Henry Hazlitt, Dr. Walter E. Williams, and Dr. Thomas Woods. Fictions authors I like include Dean Koontz, Michael Connelly, Clive Cussler, and Stephen King.

My preference in films really depends on my mood. I love comedy, horror, action, drama, and psychological thrillers.
