ABOUT ME

Being 20 and doing cultural studies imply three things:
First, I want to travel.
Second, I don't have much money.
And third, I hate trips organized by travel agencies with people who are bored and tired and sad and want to rest by sightseeing some "must-see" places through the window of their bus.

Books: Vladimir Nabokov, Stanislaw Lem, Truman Capote. "Under the Volcano" by Malcolm Lowry, "The Sound and the Fury" by Faulkner, "Kiss of the Spider-Woman" by Manuel Puig. Boris Akunin. Etgar Keret. "The Neverending Story" by Michael Ende (Death of An Author/Birth of A Reader manifesto for me). Jostein Gaarder's books for children, as well as The Ringmaster's Daughter (because they're basically about telling the stories). Astrid Lindgren, of course, she's my goddess. I'm also a huge J. K. Rowling fan, it's kind of a generation thing, I guess...
