About Me

I've just arrived in England on a two year working holiday visa, but am going on a wee trip around the country first to check it all out.

I am a bubbly and friendly person. I studied architecture at University in Wellington. When I was in University I did a student Exchange in Múnich, Germany and saw a bit of Europe. This is probably where I got the taste for travelling and haven't really stopped since. After uni I moved to Melbourne where I worked for a year and a bit. I've done two 6 month trips around south america and the states. I'm absolutely in love with south america and would go back again in a heartbeat. This is where I began learning Spanish which I'm keen to keep up! I've also spent some recent years living in my home town wellington.

I love hanging out with friends, going out and having a few beers but also just chilling out. I enjoy outdoorsy activities such as camping and hiking (tramping as we say in NZ but not sure if it means the same thing over here!) I like to think of myself as a very relaxed person and easy to get along with. I like to have a good laugh.

I like to say yes and make the most of opportunities that come my way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have done a little couchsurfing around europe, south america and the states and hosted at home in Wellington. All have been great experiences. I love it when people I have met overseas come to visit me in NZ! I've also used couchsurfing for the events. I've met up with people in cities and also gone on roadtrips which was great!

I really enjoyed staying with local people who can show me things off the beaten track!
