I've always lived in Belgium, small, rainy, welcoming country (I guess I like to travel to show the world how welcoming belgian people are). I am doing a master in Social Psychology (which is an interesting mix between politics, sociology and psychology) and already thinking about my next master (probably Gender studies or Humanitarian work). I study in Louvain-La-Neuve (which is a small, perfect campus). I started travelling on my own when I was 18. I started with Asia and fell in love with this continent : China, Thailand, Indonesia, India, Vietnam... I love how welcoming people are. I always try to volunteer wherever I travel. I am currently studying in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA at Butler University for one semester. I am trying to discover this huge country : wish me luck !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am amazed by how people build and change (sometimes badly) our world. There are so many cultures, so many people, so many countries and ways to see the world that I want to discover. I want to meet people from other cultures as much as I can. Couch surfing is the perfect way to meet people and truly discover and understand a culture. Sharing is what I like the most. Sharing a piece of my beloved Belgium.

Interests

I spend most of my free time traveling. But when I am home I love volunteering. When I don't study, I spend my time volunteering for social organizations. I am also part of a project called "Project houses" in my university. Each "house" has a project (there are 78 different projects and houses). Our project is about understanding migrations and helping refugees in Belgium. I have been the "president" of the house for one year. It is a great project, full of sharing experiences. I met so many great people. As you can tell, I am mostly interested in politics and social issues. Beside that, I am a ballet teacher. I am graduated from the Luxembourg Ballet Conservatory. I love ballet and especially teaching ballet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent one month in India and it was a wonderful experience. The best experience of my life. I saw so many different cities, people, colors... It was amazing. India is definitely my favorite country on earth. It is a messy country but a joyful mess full of colors and music. And extraordinary people.
