About Me

Looking to meet people and building solid networking and relationship during travelling. Anything can happen during travelling, and meeting and finding the right friends that you can connect to is priceless.
Here is to the joy and love of travelling and holiday can bring to all us of ^_^.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is recommended on travel blog and I'm looking to cut cost on accommodation as trip expenses is already expensive, especially with airline tickets always on the rise. Most likely, I will go out and about during the day to see the new city and places I'm in and probably rest the first few days to a week or so when I first arrive, depending if it was a long trip or super-long trip. (See my reason why below).

As I'm someone with chronic motion sickness when I'm on the airplane and other methods of travel (e.g. boat, train, bus, etc), I want a place where I can simply rest on land when I landed in my stopoever destination. The general rule for me as of now: 8 hours air time (i.e. travel time up in the air) is equivalent to about a week rest and recuperation in a city, and 8-12+ hours will require about 2 weeks of rest and recuperating. So, as you can see, if I've 8-12+ hours air travel time up in the air, I simply need to spend 2 weeks of resting, and then I can truly start and enjoy my holiday / travelling plan.

Couchsurfing will help me greatly to cut down on my accommodation expenses and allow me to rest and recuperate properly within days of landing in a new city / town. Thank you all for those who accept hosting and opening their home and apartment to people all around the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This up-coming trip to North America (US and Canada) will be my first trip alone - normally I require an assistant, mostly family member(s) or travel with someone I know. Multiple domestic trips in US alone will also be my first trip without assistant. Normally I require wheelchair assistant for every landing. Here's to new amazing things we do for the love of travelling, despite our obstacles.
