Overview
About Me
I am a happy and easy going person, who loves to travel, meet new people, make friends, and discover what new surprises life has to offer.
I am an architect specialized in health buildings. I am also an oriental dance teacher.
With my Spanish journalist boyfriend Miguel we decided to take a year off work and to travel around some beautiful places on the world. So far we started our trip with the Rolling Stones concert in Lima and visited Peru and Bolivia. Then we crossed the Pacific Ocean in a little sail boat from the Galápagos Islands to French Polynesia.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We visited some island in the marquesas tuamotus and societe still with a sail boat. And our best experiences were with local people, like polinesian dancing, pig hunting, spare fishing, snorkeling, cooking, eating or just chatting and learning from them. But the most important was the feeling of having new fantastic friends in different corners of the planet.
Now we go to Fiji and then to Australia and it would be fantastic to start being part of the CS community in order to see the new places with the local perspective. I opened my CS a few years ago but I never really used it. Now we are really looking forward to have the CS experience in our trip!

Music, Movies, and Books
I like Latin and Spanish music, but also enjoy other kinds of music.
My favorite movies are the ones that make you think about how reality works like eternal sunshine for the spotless mind, for example.
My favorite books are historical novels I am reading a lot Javier Moro lately.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbed the Cotopaxi Volcano in Ecuador (5900 m high)
Jumped from the highest bungee jumping of the world in the Garden Route of South Africa (200 m)
Crossed the Pacific Ocean in a little sailing boat from Galapagos (Ecuador) to Marquesas Islands (French Polynesia)
Swam with sharks and rays in Belize
Earned great scholarships to live in Madrid and study two masters in one year
Participated in the most important Arabic dance Festival in the world in Cairo Egypt
Taking a year off work to make a dream come true: to travel around the world with my boyfriend!
Teach, Learn, Share
I am an Arabic dance teacher, in a system called Prem Shakti, oriental dance and feminine consciousness. So I can teach oriental and Latin dance, and also different kinds of meditation.
I can teach some tips about traveling in the countries that I have visited. I can teach Spanish and French and would be glad to continue practicing my English and Portuguese.
I think that you can always teach something and learn something when you meet other people. This is one of the nicest things about traveling: to learn about different cultures, and ways of thinking and living. And also to leave a nice feeling in the people.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We are easy going and organized couple. We really like to hang out and share experiences with local people. We like to cook, and to have everything nice and clean.
We can share stories, jokes, dance and different kind of activities.
We make an excellent tortilla Española!! 😊
