Présentation
À propos de moi
I was born in Madrid 26 years ago. I have always enjoy travelling and knowing other cultures, scenerys, landscapes and ways of living. I have had the opportunity of visiting great deal of European countries when I was little, and also, of living abroad for a year in California and for some months in London. I also spent some time in Morocco doing cooperation activities. I finished my University Degree and my Master in Cinematography a couple of years ago and started trying to make a living of it, which is at the same time a fascinating but hard goal. I consider myself to be an easy-going, broad-minded and respectful person, eager to know people with different interests and perspectives. I also identify myself as a comitted feminist. I love a passionate conversation, a good glass of wine, spontaneous, non planned trips and getting involved in artistic projects of any kind or budget, as long as there is a professional modus operandi and an inspiring thrill behind.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
My love for travelling, both with company and by myself, and my interest in meeting new people from all around the world made me want to be part of the Couchsurfing community. I am new, therefore, to the experience, and I really hope it will bring me beautiful memories and moments of joy. Nowadays, I have some trouble opening my home to visitors and travellers who want to know the lively, spirited city of Madrid, but I am pretty sure very soon I would be able to do so, and thus, to make up for any opportunity I may have of being host myself.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
I really enjoy Arts in general, specially cinema and literature. In my free time, I try to read and go to the movies as much as I can, and I believe I have quite a stable curiosity for discovering new authors, artists and creators out there.
I am really fond of independent productions and french cinema (which I think, in average, has a pretty high quality, enviable depth and sense of commitment). I also try to follow the body work of female filmakers, who are always less in number as they should be. I love the craft of Xavier Dolan, Jane Campion, François Ozon and Andrea Arnold. Can´t really stand blockbusters and remakes.
I don´t have any particular favourite literature genre. I like both renowned writers such as Virginia Woolf, Julio Cortázar or Thomas Mann, and more modern or controversial authors, like Michel Houllebecq, Elfride Jelinek or Henry Miller. My favourite book is possibly "The Swallower Swallowed" by the Canadian writer Réjean Ducharme. I also enjoy reading poetry (Emily Dickinson and Sylvia Plath are my top poets) and essays.
About music preferences: folk is my kind! Long-lived fan of Leonard Cohen and Joan Baez, I really like the 60s music period. Also, mostly in the mood for some jazz or swing themes. And always open to try new artists and bands.
