I am a wilderness loving gal set on travelling as much as possible, while also laying down deep roots in my community in order to give back to my surrounding humans. I love skiing, rock climbing, dancing, reading, and taking long hikes with my pups and lovely husband. I am deeply passionate about the health of our planet and try my best to live as sustainably as I can. We have chickens and a garden we tend to in our backyard that I love taking care of everyday.

Knowledge is power and what is more powerful than sharing meaningful life experiences through travel and discussion. I love hearing colorful stories of other peoples adventures, while also offering some of my own insight as well.

兴趣

I play indoor soccer, ski the slopes in Colorado, rock climb, camp, hike, bike, read (a lot), create art, love arts and crafts, and searching new places for hidden gems. Oh and laughter, lots of laughter.

I love learning about new sustainable techniques that people can use in their everyday life in order to start change locally and within themselves. I would love to have more of a homesteading lifestyle. I am working towards it one day!!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I helped design and construct a community park in Pisco, Peru after a 8.0 magnitude earthquake hit the area. We met with the community leaders, talked about park priorities, and came up with a design with all local plants and building materials. The park was inaugurated by the mayor of the city. This is something in my life that I will forever be proud of. It was also one of the hardest things I have accomplished too!

I teach language arts and job skills at a community corrections facility (aka: half-way house) in Lakewood, CO. I help people get on their feet after battling with addiction and incarceration.

I would love to learn more about education systems in other countries, ways different places are combating homelessness, social justice issues, and EVERYTHING to do with photography, nature, and new cultural experiences.
