About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to go to Europe in September and play music with as many people as possible

ABOUT ME

I've been a freelance air brush artist for 37 years and play music and write as well. I'm recently single after being in a relationship for 23 years. I'm very well read, have a great sense of humor, am a bit of a philosopher, and a people person. An ex hippie, I still believe in an alternative way of living that is human oriented instead of commerce oriented but I'm not into funky. Originally from N.Y., 37 years of living in California has mellowed me out considerably but I still have a bit of sarcasm and cynicism left, thank god......

PHILOSOPHY

It's no more complicated than being a decent human being and acknowledging people on their own terms and appreciating them for who they are. I prefer to be approachable rather than aggressive and take everyone at face value until proven otherwise. I'd rather err in trusting too much than being paranoid. I believe in putting out as much beauty, humor, and compassion into the world as humanly possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to travel through personal, direct connections instead of hotels and pensions so I can get a real feel for the cultures I'm traveling through. First time in Europe was museums, churches, and galleries - this time I want to hit the streets!
