ABOUT ME

I am mid twenties, female, recent college graduate from Portland Oregon. I am very friendly and easy going. I am currently traveling through Guatemala and volunteering with a non profit who sends medical teams from the United States. When I am not volunteering as a translator for the doctors, I am traveling to see some of Central America.

Interests

I love hiking and swimming and seeing the sights. I like relaxing as well with a beer or watching movies in the evening. I enjoy exercising and playing sports. I also love to bowl - though its harder to find a bowling alley outside of the U.S. I love to read just about any kind of book I can get. I also love food. I love to cook and I love to enjoy the cooking of others!

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy classic rock, alternative rock, folk music, just about anything you can dance to.

I grew up watching movies with my family so I have a great appreciation for all kinds of movies.

I enjoy non-fiction books, as well as sci-fi and fantasy novels, most of the classics as well. A few of my favorites include Catch-22, 100 years of solitude, The Name of the Wind...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking to the top of Machu Picchu Mountain - the toughest 2 hour hike I've ever done. Sitting on top with a few people was one of the most rewarding feelings looking over the ruins below.

Being at the hospital with my only sister while she was in labor with my baby nephew. He was one month premature which was very emotional for the family but turned out to be the most perfect baby. He is now 10 months old and I consider him one of my best friends. His name is Wyatt Kai Hudson.
