ABOUT ME

Love to meet people, am happiest when I am in a warm climate near water (oceans in particular) Note there is not an ocean within 1000 miles of me! Love to be exploring online. Am passionate about the things i get involved in Have a husband and three grown children 25, 22,and 20, plus two granddaughters 9 and 3. LOVE them all!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that people are intrinsically GOOD. I trust easily and tend to be quite open. I have not been disappointed as I journey through life with these beliefs. Life is meant to be lived! Work to LIVE! not live to work.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am very active in volunteering, would love to travel to new places and volunteer, particulary in Mexico, but other places as well. Cost is a factor, so hopefully Couch Surfing can help me make tha tdifference.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw Darwin's Turtle in Australia last year. Can you imagine that this turtle is over 135 or was it 185 years old and that Charles Darwin actually touched it with his own hands, and it's still ALIVE. that was amazing.

I am a speaker on Personal Safety for Women, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault Information, prevention and Recovery, and have a backgroun in working in Mental Health, Teaching, and Crisis Work.
