About Me

Manage to surf from couch to couch for a few weeks not knowing where I'll be next.

Good hello to you all. Allow me a moment of your time to present myself to you for evaluation as potential friend, couch occupant, arch nemesis or cherished idol. My name is Colin. I am a student of mathematics and computer science at the University of British Columbia Okanagan. I've switched majors six times and I think I'm ready to settle down and start a thrilling life with numbers and programming. I am here to meet lovely people with lovely couches.

Be unspeakably kind to everyone and don't trust those who elect to own only one book.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am utterly atrocious at staying focused for an entire film and I don't often sit down to see one, but when I do I've enjoyed: Chungking Express, 2001:A Space Odyssey, Dr.Strangelove, A Clockwork Orange, Psycho, The Birds, The Third Man,The Birds, City of God, Vertigo, Rocky Horror Picture Show (viewCount=17), I

I'm embarrassed to say I'm not very competent with music. I don't generally have anything to listen to.

For Books, I'll try to be terse with my list of titles.
Dorothy Parker, Gore Vidal, A Clockwork Orange, 2001, Fahrenheit 451, House of leaves, P.G Wodehouse, Observer's Handbook 2013 from the RASC, Doors of Perception, Brave New Wold, Oscar Wilde, I swear I'm more literate than this. I'm easily smitten by witty writing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There was a time when I was able to do the splits.

There was another time when I met a fellow who was the voice of one of the ninja turtles.

I'm not saying these should qualify as amazing by any stretch, but it's tough to think of something impressive on the spot. Let me get back to this after a few months of pondering.
