Hello,

My name is Colin Rush and I am a recent graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder. I graduated in 2014 with a B.S. in Creative Advertising as well as a Minor in Italian. I currently work as a Project Assistant at Atomic20, a strategic marketing agency here in Boulder, CO, as well as a Social Media Intern for PepPod, a startup in North Boulder.

I love all things art related - painting, drawing, anything that taps into the creative process. I'm born and raised in Santa Monica, so art and the arts have always been an integral part of my life.

I played the alto and baritone saxophones for 8 years growing up, so I have a soft spot for jazz/blues/swing music. I listen to pretty much everything, save a few artists or genres here and there.

I studied Italian for four years at CU, and was also fortunate enough to be able to study abroad there for a summer. I'm always up for learning about other languages, histories, cultures, and traditions. I love geography, so these two together go hand in hand.

I'm an easygoing, laid-back guy who enjoys quality conversations and learning new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couch surfing because I currently have a three week period between leases where I will be without a home. My sister, who lives in France, uses www.couchsurfing.com often and recommended that I check it out. Once I am settled into my new place, I will gladly host anyone through couchsurfing.
