West Coast Bound
Hi Everyone! I have couched surfed before and really love the concept of this site. Meeting new people is a top priority in life, along with science, teaching, good food and beer, biking, running, hiking, camping, and the environment.
My boyfriend, Wes, and I have been several awesome adventures with each other and we are both looking forward to more. We are both liberal, progressive kind of people (don't be fooled by our location!) and really love to travel.
Gandhi's Seven Deadly Sins:
Wealth Without Work
Pleasure Without Conscience
Knowledge Without Character
Commerce (Business) Without Morality (Ethics)
Science Without Humanity
Religion Without Sacrifice
Politics Without Principle
You must be the change you want to see in the world
Climb the mountains, get the glad tidings
Nature's peace will fill your soul
Like sunlight to trees, on a clear mountain breeze
Wear sorrow away, at least for today
Like winds and sunsets, wild things were taken for granted until progress began to do away with them. Now we face the question whether a still higher 'standard of living' is worth its cost in things natural, wild and free.
