To see as much of the world as I can before I must settle down or to never settle down
I do not really know how to describe myself. I am usually optimistic but am a hardcore realist. I love to travel and try new things every chance that I get. I have fouund that if I stay in one place to long I become depressed. My first travel experience by myself was to Thailand,I was 20. This trip allowed me to experience the culture of my fellow travelers and of the Thai people. I was immediately was bitten by the travel bug and feel that my time in the U.S. could always be better spent overseas. By Mid May '13 I plan on buying a one way ticket to somewhere in Europe and chase the summer through S.E. Asia
Always be positive especially when it is the hardest.
Fall down 7 times get up 8
Buy the ticket take the ride
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have not participated as of yet. Hopefully this summer I will be able to expand on this area.
As far back as I can remember our spare couches and rooms were filled with wayward teenagers. I surfed couches for a few years in high school and a little afterwards. No official experience on this site.
TRAVEL, politics, world news, reading, meeting new people, pubs, parties, travel, reading, snowboarding, I am really up for anything that does not have to do with heights I am up for.
- pub crawls
Music, Movies, and Books
I am not a huge movie buff I do enjoy them but could not name a large amount of actors or directors. Music I am into really anything with a good beat and lyrics I can stand. I do not listen to the U.S. Top 40 or anything that is popular U.S. rap music. I enjoy a lot of writers: Hunter S. Thompson, Upton Sinclair, Chuck Palahniuk, David Sedaris, Mark Twain, Tim O'Brien, Kurt Vonnegut, and many more
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Riding Elephants in Thailand, riding camels in Egypt, staying on a compound in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. Walking through the tent cities in Haiti and visiting my first UN compound. Going to Burning Man for 6 years.. look it up too much to explain.
