CURRENT MISSION

For 30 years we have been raising 3 wonderful kids, now it's time for a holiday. So we're spending 2011 surfing, travelling, and enjoying South America, Central America and Mexico.

ABOUT ME

Ana describes Conal as: funny, loves his family, surfing and football (Man U supporter), works hard, plays hard, gentle and sweet, almost vegetarian, gorgeous. Conal describes Ana as: likes hanging out with friends, thoughtful, good company, crazy, terrible dancer (just kidding!), vegetarian and the best wife ever!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Only just joined CS and very enthusiastic about the whole thing - a great way to meet people. Hope to stay with some people while we're travelling and once we settle down again will definitely invite people to stay with us.

Music, Movies, and Books

Ana loves reading books - mainly novels and travel stories. Some fav authors: TC Boyle,JRR Tolkein, Tom Robbins, Donna Tartt. We love movies too and been watching lots in Spanish lately to help with our language. Anything with Penelope Cruz - she's hot. Ana likes punk eg NOFX, Conal's tastes more mellow eg Jack Johnson. Bands we both like: Smashing Pumpkins, Pixies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ana says; nothing can be more amazing than having a baby and watching them grow up to become a caring adult. Conal says; same.

Teach, Learn, Share

Ana has lots of experience working with small businesses (accounts, marketing, etc). She has also been an English teacher. Also lots of practical skills from growing organic food, vegetarian cooking, home maintenance, childcare. Conal works as a sports director in a college, has been a professional football coach and has lived and worked on an organic farm.
