About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see as much of the world as I can, visit as many places as possible and eat the food of each place!

ABOUT ME

Hello! I'm a 21 year old student studying in London at the moment until the end of the year. I'm from Melbourne, Australia. So far I've been to Scotland, Czech Republic, Germany and Spain and CANNOT wait to see the rest of Europe and South-east Asia! And I've also been to New Zealand and Bali!

I think that couch surfing is the best way to travel and see new places. Living with people who know their city like the back of their hand makes the experience so much richer and memorable. I've couch surfed in Spain which made the visit sooo much more interesting, as I saw and did things that the locals do.

I'm a tennis fan and will be heading to Wimbledon and the French Open this year! I also go to the Australian Open EVERY year. I may have camped outside Ticketek one year to get finals tickets... I also love eating good food, cooking, drinking, reading the paper and partying.

PHILOSOPHY

Go for it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to this, but as soon as I establish myself in London, I look forward to hosting and having lots of interesting people stay with me. AND showing them around London, especailly the bits and pieces that not everyone knows about. And when I move back to Melbourne eventually, I can't wait to show people around my beautiful city, as I feel I know Melbourne and all its hidden gems and look forward to sharing these with my fellow CS-ers! So if you're looking for a Melbourne expert to show you around in 2011, I'm your man!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with a Brazilian in Madrid. He showed us around his awsome city; the best tapas restaurants, nice parks, and quiet drinking holes. I've also stayed with South American students living in Valencia, Spain, which was awsome.

Interests

Tennis, running, piano, eating, travelling, cooking, partying and drinking a lot (I am an Aussie!), bungee jumping, reading, politics, debating on any topic (particularly politics, the environment, the economy, anything basically), black and sarcastic humour, reading the newspaper in the morning, skiing, riding my bike all around London (and Melbourne, when I'm there)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bungee jumping off a massive gorge in New Zealand. 120 metres!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you all the Aussie slang you need to know. Well you'll probably never need to know any Aussie slang, but it could be fun. Discussing all the strange, bizarre and weird differences between various nations and cultures is always interesting.

And if you speak other languages, I'd love to learn the basics and try to have some kind of conversation!

And if you can cook, I'm always up for learning new recipes!
