Im a musician,through and through. I think a world without music wouldnt be much of a world at all. Ive grown up with rock and roll,blues and traditional music from around the world thanks to my parents. A great start for any musician :) Im in a World music/Flamenco/Rumba band called Ikarumba and Ive never been happier now that i get to share my music with others. Im obsessed with Nature and the science of life. Even coming to the south of France, ive been looking in every nook and cranny for interesting creepy crawlys :P my girlfriend just finished studying art,craft and design in collage and now were of Wwoofing round France and Spain to soak up the rich tapestry of life so that we can project them in our art forms :) . Were very easy going people who love soaking up different cultures and meeting new people of all cultures. If you have any questions about us, please dont hesitate to ask :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are currently Wwoofing and loving it but we have heard from friends that couch surfing is a great way to meet new people and to see a country. We're looking for people who don't take life to seriously where it counts and who are up for a laugh always :)

Interests

Music im in flamenco/catalan rumba band but we aim to play world music from all over the world. So during my travels im on a mission fro the band to bring back some native tunes :D Im really into Nature, i worked in horticulture for a year which i absolutely loved and will take that job up again in the future. Me and my girlfriend have just caught the travel bug and expect to do much much more in the future :) I love hiking and walking through untouched regions of the earth :P Making things from whittling a cool staff to making bog wood lamps.Im interested in learning new things and meeting lifes wackiest people :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Rock and Roll, Blues, World , heavy metal,drum and bass, jazz, cuban,Flamenco... love it all really , the list would never end!!. Music is my life!! My aim in life is to learn every instrument. :) tall order i know but its worth a shot haha . I like most Sci-Fi's, adventure, or comedy films. I love the life of Pi... i feel refreshed everytime i watch it :P My favourite film is 'Into The Wild' i think we can all learn a thing or two from that film :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wwoofing! Wwoofing is a brilliant way to see the world and meet new people. For those who dont know, Wwoofing is an exchange of work such as permiculture,landscaping,artistic skills,gardening, trying to live an Organic lifestyle. We come to a farm do a couple hours of work a day, and the host will give us a bed and food and show us around there area :) we are currently near Perpignan in France at the moment and loving it!!!:D You meet many other like minded people and your best friends within 30 mins, and there friendships that last :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach guitar lessons for anyone willing to learn, and maybe some things about gardening/horticulture. My girlfriend Alex can paint with you and show you some tricks with Art :) I would love to learn some more flamenco or basically any world music. Alex can also cook and bake like a beast :P haha Were interested in learning anything interesting that people want to share with us. From beatboxing to tap dancing or learning another language or anything really..its all up to the hosts :P

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a little gardening and horticulture information, and music, lots and lots of music. And alex can share Art and Cooking. And we can teach the 10 words of the Irish language that we know :D and we can share a few laughs to :D And if you do end up hosting us we will make sure to leave no messy trace that we were there, we are very respectful.
